Vendors Overview

This guide describes the Vendor Catalog page experience in Emburse Spend and Emburse Professional, including visible page-level fields and controls. Use this page to quickly understand who can access Vendors, how users navigate to it, and what each field on the screen represents.

Access and Permissions

The Vendor Catalog page is available to Admin users and users with equivalent company-granted permissions. If a user does not see Vendors on the side navigation, confirm role and permission setup with your company administrator before troubleshooting workflow behavior.

Navigate to Vendors Page

Vendors is available directly from the left navigation under Emburse AP.

  1. Open Emburse AP in the left navigation.
  2. Select Vendors.
  3. Vendors navigation in Spend

The table below explains the visible fields and controls shown on the Vendors page in Emburse Spend/.

Actions You Can Perform on the Vendor List

Field Description
Add Vendors Opens the flow to add a new vendor record.
Search by Vendor Name or ID Filters the table by vendor name or vendor ID.
Status Filters rows by vendor status.
RESET Clears active filters and returns the full list.
Actions Provides row-level actions. Select VIEW to open vendor details, or use the overflow menu for additional actions available for that vendor.
Deactivate (Soft Delete) Deactivates a vendor and moves it to the inactive list.
Delete Deletes a vendor from the list only when no accounting objects are attached to that vendor (for example, invoices, POs, or payments).

Vendor Data Fields Shown in the List

Field Description
Vendor Shows the vendor name and vendor ID.
Billing Address Shows the vendor billing address.
Email ID Shows the vendor email address.
Status Shows the current status value for each vendor row.
Open Invoices Shows the visible count of open invoices for each vendor.
