Funding Account Overview
The Funding Accounts page in Emburse AP shows the payment source accounts used for invoice payments. Use this page to review configured accounts, account status, and available row actions.
Access and Permissions
This page is available for users with administrator-level Emburse AP permissions.
The Support team adds and updates funding account setup details for your organization.
Navigate to Funding Accounts
Funding Accounts Page Layout
The Funding Accounts list includes account identity, currency, type, masked account details, status, and row-level actions.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Account Name | Displays the configured account name. One account can be marked as Default. |
| Currency | Displays the account currency, such as USD or CAD. |
| Type | Displays the bank account type, such as Checking. |
| Account | Displays masked bank account details for security. |
| Status | Displays account status values such as Active and Needs verification. |
| Actions | Displays row-level actions that are available for your role. |
Adding or Updating Funding Accounts
Funding account creation and core account detail updates are managed by the Support team.

- Collect required account details, including account name, currency, account type, and bank account information.
- Contact Support and provide the required details for setup or update.
- After Support confirms completion, return to the Funding Accounts page and verify account status.
Best Practices
- Use clear naming conventions that identify account purpose and currency.
- Verify account status before using an account for payment workflows.
- Limit distribution of full banking details and share only through approved secure channels.
- Plan separate funding accounts for each active currency used by your organization.
- Review account status and ownership on a regular maintenance schedule.
Funding accounts currently support only US bank accounts.
