Quickbooks Online Integration
Bill Pay currently supports the integration with Quickbooks Online. Additional accounting software integrations will continue to be added to BillPay as the feature continues to improve.
Note: Only QuickBooks Online vendors with valid email addresses are included in the Bill Pay sync.
The Bill Pay Sync has the following capabilities:
- Retrieves vendors once a day, as scheduled.
- Retrieves approved and unpaid bills once a day, as scheduled.
- Sends Bill status updates once a day after transactions are posted.
Configuring the Sync
To sync Bill Pay with QuickBooks Online (QBO), your QBO accounting system must be linked to your preferred bank account.
Note: A QuickBooks Online integration must already be enabled for your company.
1. Under the Accounting Sync tab on the Company Settings screen, select the Cash Method option.
2. Choose your preferred bank account from the drop-down menu.
Syncing Corporate Cards
A best practice is to have a syncing account selected for all card programs.
1. Select 'I have corporate cards and want to sync to one card feed' to sync a single bank account to all card programs.
2. Select 'I have corporate cards and want to sync to multiple card feeds' to use more than one bank account to sync to your corporate cards.
