Emburse Spend can connect directly with your Capital One business card feed, and pull in the transaction data for corporate card management in Emburse Spend.
Connect a Capital One Card Program
1. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner to open the Company Settings screen.
2. In the sidebar, select Card Programs.
3. Click Add Card Program.
4. Select Capital One from the list.
5. If your card is a business tier card (Capital One Sparks, etc.), then click Capital One Business.
6. You are redirected to the Connecting to Capital One screen. Click Continue to Capital One.
7. The screen will prompt you to log in with your admin Capital One credentials.
8. Once you've logged in, click Continue.
9. Click Continue.
10. Select the account(s) you want to share data from, then click Continue.
11. After confirming the accounts, you can click Authorize to complete the connection process.
Once you authorize the card program, you should be redirected back to Emburse Spend.
Assign Cards
Once you've added your Capital One Program on the Card Programs screen, you can assign each card to the appropriate cardholder in your Emburse Spend account.
1. Click the More menu next to the Capital One program and select Manage Cards.
2. Select the appropriate Emburse Spend member to map each card to.
3. Click Save.
Once you assign cards, they will appear in the cardholder's personal Emburse Spend account.
Reauthorize Your Connection
Occasionally there are security practices in existence that force a Capital One Corporate Card program's authentication token to expire after 90 days of connectivity. Twice a week Emburse Spend also has a system to notify customers via email that a card program has been disconnected and needs to be re-authorized.
When an admin logs in to their account, they will be prompted to reauthorize any disconnected cards.
Admins will then be redirected to the Card Programs screen under Company Settings.
A warning message appears below the Card Program Name indicating that it has been disconnected. Click Re-connect your card and follow the steps that appear to reauthorize the connection.
