The Emburse Spend mobile app makes expensing on-the-go easy. Get started following the steps below.
Download the App for iOS
To download the iOS version of the Emburse Spend app, search the Apple App Store for "Emburse Spend" or click here to download the app directly.
Download the App for Android
To download the Android version of the Emburse Spend app, search the Google Play Store for "Emburse Spend" or click here to download the app directly.
Log In to the Emburse Spend App
1. Tap Get Started.
2. Enter the same username and password you use to log in to Emburse Spend online and tap Log In.
3. The first time you log in, you will be asked to allow notifications. Tap Allow.
Take a Receipt Photo
1. Tap the white camera button at the bottom of the Dashboard to take a photo of your receipt.
2. Position your mobile device over the receipt until it is in focus, then tap the circle at the bottom to capture the image.
3. A thumbnail version of the image will appear at the top of your screen. Tap it to enter a note about the receipt.
4. Enter the desired note and tap Save.
5. Now swipe down on the Dashboard to be sure the receipt photo has been saved to the app.
You may also upload receipts via e-mail and uploading.
Create an Expense In the App
1. To create a new expense in the Emburse Spend app, tap the blue pencil button at the bottom of the Dashboard.
2. Tap the camera button to add a receipt.
- Tap Receipts to select an image you took with the Emburse Spend app. This will automatically populate the merchant and amount so you can skip Step 3, below.
- Tap Choose from Library to select an image from your mobile device's camera roll.
- Tap Take a Photo to capture a new image to attach.
3. If you didn't upload an image taken with the Emburse Spend app, tap the fields in the blue header bar to select the merchant type and enter the amount.
4. Enter the remaining details.
- Tap Add Detail to access additional fields.
- Tap Split to split the expense between two categories.
5. When done, tap Expense.
