Reporting for Managers

Emburse Send gives managers visibility into their own expenses and the expenses of individuals they manage. 

  • The Transactions screen in Emburse Spend allows managers to see corporate card transactions for connected corporate cards in Spend. You can use this screen to get a high-level overview of credit card spend in real time and view historical corporate card spend for your department.  
  • The Reimbursements screen in Emburse Spend allows managers to see out-of-pocket expenses that have been submitted for reimbursement in Spend. You can use this screen to get a high-level overview of reimbursable spend in real time and view historical reimbursable spend for your department.  

Managers can also use saved filters to create reports that they can return to on the Transactions and Reimbursements screens.

Which Expenses Can I See as a Manager?

As a manager, you will have visibility into expenses submitted by anyone on your team from the time you are set as their manager. You will also see your own expenses in the Pending, Denied, and Completed sections. This is to ensure that you can most accurately report on your team's spend.

Transactions Reports

To see transactions from the corporate card programs connected to your Emburse Spend account, click Card Transactions in your Manager sidebar.

For Managers, the Transactions screen lists all of the corporate card transactions for you and your direct reports in your Emburse Spend account. The transactions are divided into these tabs:

  • Needs Review: Transactions that are awaiting your review and approval
  • Pending Other's Review: Transactions that are awaiting review and approval by other Spend users
  • Pending Submission: Transactions that have not yet been submitted for approval in Spend by the card holder
  • Denied: Transactions that have been denied by approvers
  • Completed: Transactions that have been submitted for approval and approved

You can use the filters at the top of each tab to focus on a specific subset of corporate card transactions, and you can click Export All to export your transaction details as a CSV. Managers can also use saved filters to create reports that they can return to on the Transactions screen.

Reimbursable Expense Reports

To see expenses submitted for reimbursement in Emburse Spend, click Reimbursements in your Manager sidebar.
