Employees can request cards from their personal Dashboard in Emburse Spend.
Once a card is requested, an email notification will be sent to and the request will appear on the Card Requests screen of the appropriate approver based on the approval route configured by your administrator.
Admins always have full visibility and access to all pending card requests on the Card Requests screen, even if they are pending a manager’s approval.
Once issued, you can view and manage Emburse Cards on the Team Cards screen. Managers and Admin can also create and assign new cards without a request as needed.
Approve Card Requests from Email
1. In the card request approval email, click Issue Card.
2. You will be redirected to your Emburse Spend account. Once there, fill in any missing card information and click Issue Card.
Approve Card Requests in Emburse Spend
To review and approve a card request:
1. Click Card Requests on your Manager or Admin sidebar.
2. Click on a card request or the Approve button to open the request details.
2. Managers can choose from the following three options:
- Deny
- Forward to Admin
- Issue Card
Admin can choose to Deny or Issue Card.
