This release includes updates focused on improving administrative workflows, integration reliability, and the mobile expense experience. Administrators can now offboard users more efficiently, customers connecting Chase accounts through Plaid will experience a more reliable setup flow, and mobile users gain better visibility into denied expenses that require action. Additional fixes improve payment status accuracy and mobile expense field behavior.
Highlights
- User deactivation flow: Offboard users faster with a simpler, more transparent deactivation experience.
- Chase credit card connection (Plaid): Add multiple Chase accounts more reliably with fewer connection issues.
- Denied expenses visibility (mobile): Identify and resubmit denied expenses directly from a new dashboard section.
Improvements
ADMIN
Improve User Deactivation Flow
We improved the user deactivation flow so administrators can better manage users who have unsubmitted expenses or active virtual cards. When an administrator deactivates a user, the flow now accounts for whether that user has unsubmitted expenses and helps prevent assigned virtual cards from becoming inaccessible after deactivation. This gives administrators clearer guidance before completing deactivation.
INTEGRATIONS
Improve Chase Credit Card Connection Flow Through Plaid
We improved the flow for connecting additional Chase credit card accounts through Plaid. Previously, users could encounter issues when attempting to add another Chase credit card account, which could lead to confusion or failed connection attempts. The updated experience improves reliability and reduces friction when connecting multiple Chase credit card accounts.
MOBILE
Add Denied and Resubmittable Expenses Section
We added a new section to the mobile dashboard that displays all denied expenses, including expenses that can be resubmitted and expenses that are permanently denied. Previously, users had limited visibility into denied expenses, making it harder to understand which transactions required action. This update makes it easier to review denied expenses and identify which items can be corrected and resubmitted directly from the dashboard.
Bug Fixes
PAYMENTS
Improve Failed ACH and Debit Payment Status Accuracy
We improved the accuracy of failed ACH and debit payment statuses to provide clearer visibility into transaction outcomes. Previously, some failed payment statuses were not correctly synced from the payment system, which could result in inaccurate status information for customers. This update ensures failed payment statuses now sync and display more reliably for customers tracking payment activity.
MOBILE
Fix Missing Team Field Values
Some users experienced missing values in the Team field when creating or editing expenses. This fix ensures the correct values now populate consistently.
