Mobile App Notifications for Emburse Card Transactions

You can choose opt in or out of notifications related to your Emburse Card activity in Emburse Spend.

Access Your Notification Settings

To access your Emburse Card notification settings:

1. Click your name in the top right corner of Emburse Spend on desktop and select Personal Settings.

2. Click Notification Settings in the Personal Settings sidebar.

Emburse Push Notifications will display from the Emburse Spend mobile app on your smartphone.

See the descriptions below for details about how each notification works.

  • Reminder to capture receipts on Emburse transactions: Immediately after the Emburse card is used for a purchase, this notification will prompt you to capture the receipt for the transaction using your phone.
  • A queued expense submits successfully: Your queued expense has been submitted automatically in the Emburse Spend mobile app. It will move on to receive any approvals from your "Unexpensed" screen.
  • A queued expense failed to submit and needs review: Your queued expense failed to submit automatically. This expense will have returned to your "Unexpensed" screen and requires editing before re-submission. 
  • A pending transaction is voided: A transaction that was in a "pending" state has now been canceled by the merchant, i.e. when a "payment hold" is removed from the card.

Additionally, Slack notifications will be available if your organization has configured our Slack integration.
